Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Welcome back to a fun episode of my boring blog.
Today we’ll talk about an incident , or shall I say stimulant(Oh god not the rhyming puns!)  that happened to Sophia Stockton a college student who found A BAG OF COCAINE between her new book she bought from Amazon.
I bet the sales of books on Amazon skyrocketed with 300% after this got public.

After she opened the book she ordered, a bag of cocaine fell out of it , she was shocked so she brought the bag to the authority. The book was "Understanding Terrorism: Challenges, Perspectives, and Issues," Just an FYI I’m throwing out there. The authority tested it  and thus confirmed that it was indeed , cocaine. He then joked about her ordering cocaine with her book.

On the other hand Amazon is not responsible for this kind of fun situations because they’re a corporation who buy stuff and sell them again. In other words , they hardly check whatever third-party sellers give them. So this may be the first time there is some illegal substance falling out of a book , but probably not the first time something unordered came with order.

After Sophia gave it to the police , she went back home and sent Amazon an E-mail , yet to receive an E-mail back. Waiting for  an awkward message back , Amazon  can’t check all their e-mails they get in one day , think about it. Try to answer 80%(Since somewhat 20% are either spam , fake , not understandable or plain gibberish)  of 100.000s of e-mails you get DAILY

The most frustrating part for me is , that she didn’t even try to sell it. What I mean is , you’re a college student , you probably don’t have a lot of cash , sell it and you got yourself an easy 400-500 Dollars BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT A DAMN BOOK ABOUT TERRORISM.

“PATRIOTISM , F*CK YEAH”

Police “destroyed” the cocaine , probably by ripping out a page of the book and snorting it hard through the page rolled up.

Even though Amazon , didn’t yet comment , This might be a scar on their image  , I say might be because it either makes them look like a bunch of yard sale amateurs OR People actually would go buy more stuff because of this incident. Most likely a little from column A and a little from column B .

Now , I bid thee farewell and a good night sleep.  Let’s hope the next time you buy a second-hand item there won’t be crystal meth tucked inside of it.
